Walmart Realm
A virtual retail experience for Walmart, with the UI built from scratch, third-party game integrations, and full deployment ownership.
The problem
Walmart needed a virtual storefront that felt like a real environment, not a flat product catalogue, and the existing tooling for the experience didn't include a UI layer or a way to bring in third-party game content.
Our approach
We treated the UI as a from-scratch build rather than a skin over existing tooling, with React and Chakra UI giving us the component flexibility to match the brand inside a KRPano-driven 3D environment. Third-party games were integrated as first-class parts of the experience rather than bolted-on iframes.
What we built
A React and Chakra UI front end layered over a KRPano panoramic environment, with third-party game integrations wired directly into the experience flow. We owned the full deployment pipeline end to end, from build to release.
The outcome
The experience shipped with zero critical incidents post-launch, and the from-scratch UI gave the brand a level of visual control that off-the-shelf storefront tooling couldn't match.
